At ESTECH Hub-CI Africa, we believe that assessment should be fair, transparent, and reflective of real-world competence. Every grade issued is backed by verifiable data — weekly tests, practical projects, and a comprehensive final examination — all documented on official transcripts and certificates available for employer verification.
Letter Grade Scale
The standard 4.0 GPA scale used across all programs
The same letter-grade scale applies to weekly tests, project submissions, and the final exam — only the maximum raw score differs.

Every student is evaluated across three complementary dimensions
Weekly Session Tests
Each week, students complete a computer-based test covering the session's lecture material. A minimum score of 12/20 (60%) is required to pass and unlock the next week.

Weekly Project Submissions
After passing each weekly test, students submit a practical project (video or PDF). Projects are graded by AI with optional admin review, scored out of 100.

Final Examination
Upon completing all weekly modules, students sit a comprehensive 50-question final exam (2-hour time limit). A minimum of 30/50 (60%) is required to pass and graduate.

Cumulative GPA Calculation

The Cumulative GPA is an unweighted average of all grade points earned across every assessment — weekly tests, project submissions, and the final exam. Each assessment contributes equally, regardless of its maximum raw score.

Final Grade Calculation

The Final Grade (out of 100) is calculated when a student passes the final exam and meets the weekly test requirement (minimum 7 passed tests). It combines the number of passed weekly tests with the final exam score.
